Colleagues rally support for Sami Khan after harsh criticism

Brilliant actor Sami Khan has built a strong niche for himself in the entertainment industry with his impeccable acting talent and super-hit projects.

He was awarded the best actor in 2011 during the 16th PTV awards and also bestowed with Tamgha-e-Imtiaz (fourth highest civilian award) in 2012. 

The ‘Mannat’ actor won the great success for his film Wrong No 2 that was the third highest grossing film of 2019.

Currently, Sami Khan made an appearance in Fahad Mustafa’s show where he had to endure the degrading humor of show’s co-host Sheikh Qasim.

During the show the comedian Qasim shot the series of insulting question on him. He asked: “Apki Filmain Kiun Nahi Chal Pati” (why are your movies unsuccessful?) on which Sami Khan replied “This is not the matter, the ‘Salakhain’ was a super-hit movie at that time and Wong No 2 had also achieved the tremendous success.

The comedian was not seemed satisfying from his explanation and finished the talk with saying: “No this (Wrong No 2) was not super hit but if you are saying this, we accepted.”

In another question the co-host humiliated him with saying: “is this true that, you are working in multiple projects because you charge very lower amount? “on this the ‘Kinara’ actor posing a laughter and remained silent.

Qasim continued to insulting and blasting him in a funny way with saying that “I hear that the female stars do not want to work with you due to age differences”. The actor Sami Khan exhibited patience and handled the all blasts with dignity.

The audience appreciated the humbleness of Sami Khan and came to floor for supporting to their beloved. 

After returning from the show he posted a note on his Instagram story with quoting a Quranic verse: “وَتُعِزُ مَن تَشَاء وَتُذِلُ مَن تَشَاء, Our career success and failure in the hands of Allah, not people. If he is with you, no one can harm you."

In support of Sami Khan, other showbiz celebrities, including Armeena Khan, Ayesha Omar, Ayesha Khan, and Muneeb Butt, expressed their adoration on their social media accounts.
