Pakistan Railways to resume operations temporarily from May 10

Pakistan Railways has decided to temporarily resume the Railways operations from May 10 to facilitate the people amid the coronavirus outbreak, reported 24NewsHD TV Channel quoting sources.
Ministry of Railways has sent a letter to Railways Headquarters Lahore for the resumption of trains operations after the countrywide limited easing of lockdown from May 9.
Sources say in the first phase 28 to 30 inter-provincial special trains would be operated while it has been directed to ensure all the arrangements before the resumption of Railways operations including the anti-COVID-19 measures and security of stations.
It is pertinent to note that Federal Minister for Railway Sheikh Rasheed has already offered to resume operations of the Pakistan Railways with all safety precautions amid the COVID-19.
