“Corruption references will be sent to NAB against public office holders in case of undeclared offshore assets”

State Minister for Information Farrukh Habib has said that Pandora Papers leaks cell will determine in its investigation report whether the offshore assets of the public office holders are declared or not, reported 24NewsHD TV on Monday.

The minister, in his tweet, said that the corruption references will be referred to NAB if the offshore assets of public office holders were not declared. He said in case of money laundering, the matter would be referred to FIA.

Furthermore, Farukh Habib said, “If someone, holding offshore assets, is not a public office holder, the case of tax evasion will go to the FBR’’.
