The attack on Chinese-born Pakistanis in Karachi has been declared a deep conspiracy to spoil cordial relations between Pakistan and China, claim Karachi police on Tuesday.

According to the 24NewsHD TV channel, Karachi police submitted a preliminary investigation report to the court. The report revealed that Sindhudesh People’s Army (SPA) is responsible for the attack on Chinese people in Karachi.

It is pertinent that a man was killed while two Chinese-born Pakistanis were wounded on September 28 when unidentified attackers opened fire on them inside a dental clinic in Karachi.

A number of separatist armed groups are active in Balochistan and Sindh provinces to stop the ongoing to China's investment plans in the region that envisage linking its Xinjiang Province with the Arabian Sea through a network of roads and railways.

Sindh police claimed that the terrorist organization SPA wants to end the development projects in Pakistan and disturbed the relations between Pakistan and China. They will be brought to justice soon, the police added.

Earlier, the police filed a case against separatist group SPA after it claimed responsibility for the attack.
