ECP constitutes 8 Election Tribunals across Punjab after due consultation with LHC CJ

Election Commission of Pakistan has issued a notification for the formation of 8 Election Tribunals in Punjab and notification in this regard has been issued, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
The serving and retired judges have been included in election tribunals. The ECP says due consultations were made with Chief Justice Lahore High Court for inclusion of serving Judges in the tribunals.
Justice Sultan Tanveer Ahmed has been made head of Tribunal comprising constituencies of Sheikhupura, Nankana, Sialkot, Wazirabad and Lahore while Justice Retired Rana Zahid Mehmood will hear cases of Lahore’s remaining constituencies.
Justice Muhammad Iqbal Chaudhry will lead the tribunal for Chiniot, Faisalabad, Toba Tek Singh, Jhang and Hafizabad constituencies.
Justice Anwar Hussain made head of Tribunal for Kasur, Okara, Sahiwal, Pakpattan and Vihari districts. Justice retired Mahmood Maqbool Bajwa will lead tribunal for Gujranwala, Gujarat, Mandi Bahauddin and Narowal region. Justice Sarfaraz Dogar will head Tribunal set up for Multan, Khanewal, DG Khan, Taunsa, Rajanpur, Kot Addu and Layyah districts.
Justice retired Zafar Iqbal will lead tribunal for Bahawalpur, Bahawalnagar, Rahim Yar Khan, Lodhran and Muzaffargarh constituencies and Justice Retired Abdul Shakoor Pracha will head tribunal for Rawalpindi, Attock, Talagang, Jhelum, Murree and Chakwal districts. The ECP has issued the notification of the Tribunals.
