Fazl endorses SC verdict about Article 63-A

JUI-F chief Maulana Fazl-ur-Rehman has condemned Israeli aggression in Gaza and Lebanon, adding that entire Ummah must join hand and raise voice against the oppression, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
Talking to media in Islamabad, JUI-F chief demanded that Saudi Arabia, Turkey, Pakistan and Malaysia should raise united voice against Israeli genocide.
JUI-F said that haste of the government regarding proposed constitutional package was surprising, he made it clear that JUI-F will not support the government until JUI-F get clear about the amendments. He said it was surprising why government was creating emergency situation in the country.
He said the JUI-F will not support the government about it. He urged the government to postpone work on constitutional amendments during SCO meeting.
He said PPP and PTI leadership was in contact with JUI-F over proposed amendments but party will decide on its own terms. To a query about floor crossing, Fazl claimed since 1980, not a single member of JUI-F has ever floor crossed till today.
Talking about Supreme Court’s decision related to the defection clause under Article 63-A of the Constitution, Fazl endorsed apex court’s decision.
Fazl has also endorsed meeting of Shanghai Council Organization in Pakistan and he urged the Opposition to cancel their protests demos during the presence of the guests in Pakistan. JUI-F chief also urged the government to postpone working on proposed constitutionals amendments to give message of unity in the country during the presence of SCO friends. He flayed manhandling of PTM protests and urged the government to promote peace and unity to strengthen country.
