Education ministry scraps two-day off-days and winter vacation

The federal education ministry has unveiled a plan to cope with the challenge of controlling damage inflicted upon the ongoing academic year because of Covid-19 closure.
A circular was issued to the education secretariat that would get it enforced.
The ministry has scrapped two day-offs a weak to keep on academic activities on Saturday and special focus will be on weak students. There will be no winter vacation in the ongoing academic year.
The educational institutes have been directed to get ready the calendar. The decision to reopen institutes will be taken up on September 15.
Parents should be taken onboard to set rules for resuming classes. Student safety would be matter teachers and heads of school/ college. Staffs and teachers should follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
