Punjab proposes doubling arms licence fee

The Punjab Home Department has sent a proposal to the cabinet committee to double the fee for arms licence, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Monday.

The Home Department has proposed to increase the fee for arms licence up to Rs50,000. The cabinet committee has approved the proposal.

After the cabinet committee, the proposal will now be sent to the full cabinet. With the approval of the full cabinet, the Home Department will issue a notification for the new arms license fee.
