Amid clashes between Bangladeshi protesters demanding resignation of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina and pro-government supporters, which killed at least eight people on Sunday, Pakistani medical students have stuck there in Bangladesh, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.


70 Pakistan medical students have appealed to the government of Pakistan that they wanted to return home as internet was not working there while law and order situation in Bangladesh was also deteriorating day by day. They have requested the government to shift them to Pakistan on urgent basis.


In an exclusive interview to 24NewsHD TV channel, medical students have demand of the government to send a special plane to Dhaka so that students can be repatriated to Pakistan. Meanwhile responding to the students’ demand, Pakistani High Commission in Dhaka has directed all medical students to reach Pakistan High Commission to reach the embassy at the earliest and safest time with passport, travel documents and important belongings.


Pakistani Commission has directed students living in various cities of Bangladesh to reach there while Commission will reimburse all of their expenses such as transportation cost and air tickets. Students are advised to travel early in the morning and visit the High Commission. While students living in remote areas with no access to traffic are directed to contact High Commission.
