Proposed schedule for ICC Champions Trophy 2025 surfaced

The proposed schedule for the International Cricket Council (ICC) Champions Trophy 2025 has surfaced, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Sunday.
According to the proposed schedule, a budget of around $70 million was approved for the Champions Trophy.
Moreover, the ICC has sent the Champions Trophy schedule to all cricket boards, while the schedule was also shared with the broadcasters.
As per schedule, all the India team matches are scheduled in Lahore, while the Pakistan-India clash is scheduled for the first of March.
The ICC will finalise the proposals after consultation with all boards.
The opening ceremony will be held in Karachi, and the closing ceremony will be held in Lahore.
The sports period of Champions Trophy warm-up matches is scheduled from February 12 to 18.
Group A includes Bangladesh and New Zealand, besides India and Pakistan.
Group B includes Australia, England, Afghanistan, and South Africa.
The event will begin between host Pakistan and New Zealand on February 19 in Karachi.
The semi-finals of the tournament will be held on March 5 in Karachi and on March 6 in Rawalpindi, while the final of the ICC Champions Trophy will be held in Lahore on March 9, and March 10 has been reserved as the reserve day for the final.
On the other hand, Pakistan will also host a tri-series before the Champions Trophy.
Apart from Pakistan, the tri-series will include New Zealand and South Africa. The series will be held from February 8 to February 14, and all the matches will be played in Multan.
