India won't visit Pakistan for Champions Trophy 2025, ICC informs PCB

The International Cricket Council (ICC) has informed the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) that the Indian cricket team will not come to Pakistan to paly Champions Trophy matches.
According to sources, the PCB has informed the government about this development and Pakistan is now likely to take tough decisions regarding cricketing relations with India. Sources say that Pakistan is considering a complete boycott of the Indian cricket team in future if the Indian team does not visit Pakistan for the Champions Trophy 2025. There are reports that Pakistan is considering not playing any tournament with India until relations between the two countries normalize.
Source say the government of Pakistan is of the view that it has always allowed the Pakistani cricket team to travel to India just for goodwill but the Indian government has always politicized the sport. The government of Pakistan has reportedly decided that Pakistan will not back down on the Champions Trophy in any case and it will go to any limit to save the tournament.
Government official say that Pakistan is preparing stadiums and making foolproof security arrangements for the mega event therefore India has no excuse to withdraw. Pakistan will face financial losses if India will not visit Pakistan, but India will face even more losses if Pakistan will not play India in future, officials say.
The 2025 ICC Champions Trophy will be the ninth edition of the ICC Champions Trophy, a cricket tournament that will be contested by top eight ranked One Day International men's national teams. It will be organised by the International Cricket Council. It will be hosted by Pakistan from 19 February to 9 March 2025.
