Justice Aqeel Ahmad recommended for post of Sindh High Court CJ

The Judicial Commission of Pakistan (JCP) has recommended the appointment of Justice Aqeel Ahmad Abbasi as the Chief Justice of the Sindh High Court.
The commission met with the Chief Justice of Pakistan in the chair to take up the appointment of the permanent Chief Justice of Sindh High Court.
The appointment of Justice Aqeel Ahmad Abbasi as Chief Justice of the Sindh High Court was recommended unanimously.
The matter was referred to the Parliamentary Committee on Appointment of Judges for final approval.
Also, Justice (r) Manzoor Ahmed Malik has been appointed as a member of the commission for two years. Earlier, Justice Sarmad Jalal Usmani was the member.
