Two dacoits killed in police encounter in Arifwala

Two dacoits were killed while two managed to escape allegedly in an ‘encounter’ with the police near Sabzi Mandi of Qabula in Arifwala, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Monday.

According to the police’s version, four dacoits were fleeing after committing a robbery in a house. When they saw the cops chasing them, they opened fire at them, the Force said, adding that the cops retaliated, resulting in the deaths of two robbers.

However, the police said, the deceased dacoits could not be identified as yet.
