Fawad Chaudhry appreciated the US gesture of friendship. He was referring to Made in America 100 ventilators that arrived in Pakistan the other day.
The federal science minister, however, said in the next three years Pakistan will have its own big medical or electromagnetic industry and said that he has no doubts that the US will be Pakistan’s major client.
Recently, USA donated 100 new ventilators that will enable Pakistan to more effectively treat patients suffering from COVID-19 in hospitals across the country.
The ventilators reflect the latest in cutting-edge design and technology.
US Ambassador to Pakistan Jones said, “The United States stands with Pakistan in its fight against coronavirus. These American-made ventilators will help Pakistani patients in the most acute need of medical care."
“Overall we have invested nearly $27 million in the growing U.S-Pakistan health partnership against COVID-19,” he said.
