Provided for putting out bushfire in KP, PMO chopper used for Bushra’s protocol

The KP government has used a PMO helicopter – provided for firefighting mission – for the protocol of former first lady Bushra Bibi, 24NewsHD TV channel reported Sunday.

Reportedly, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif ordered providing the provincial government with the chopper to put out the fire in Swat areas.

The provincial government adopted ‘special measures’ for the arrival of Imran Khan with his spouse, sources said, adding that at the time of her arrival and departure, all the employees of the CM House were sent out.

As soon as the KP act made headlines, the chief secretary got a verbal order to inform the PMO that it needn’t the helicopter as the fire has been put out. 

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif ordered providing two helicopters for extinguishing fire in Swat areas. The premier is reported to have issued instructions after approving the request of the district administration and subsidiaries of KP.
