The personnel of Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF), Mansehra and ANF Intelligence, in a joint operation, recovered over 64 kilograms of narcotics from a car on Khanpur Road, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Saturday.
According to the ANF officials, the driver had hidden around 45.6 kilograms of charas, 18 kilograms of opium and one kilogram of heroin beneath the backseat of the car.
They further said that Tassawur, driver of the car, had been taken into custody and was being questioned.
Only yesterday (Friday, March 4, 2022), the personnel of ANF Mansehra had foiled the bid to smuggle a large quantity of drugs and took into custody Tanveer Hussain, a resident of Islamabad, who was transporting 45 kilograms of hashish, 18 kilograms of opium and one kilogram of heroin from Peshawar to Lahore.
