It's known that the Government of India has been evacuating Indians stuck in Ukraine for the past few days. Thousands of Indian nationals are still stuck in Ukraine.
In a video clip, an evacuated student has alleged that the Indian Embassy officials asked students to clean toilets in the place where they were lodged if they have to get access to an early passage to India.
The news has become controversial, with Congress leader Rahul Gandhi himself calling out the government.
"Such shameful treatment of compelling students is an insult to the entire country. This bitter truth of Operation Ganga has shown the real face of the Modi government," Gandhi tweeted a while ago.
Earlier, Congress Seva Dal said, "Indian Embassy asking students to clean toilets before boarding the plane is a ridiculous and the most insensitive statement. The Modi government should hang its head in shame."
