PPP 'decides' to become part of govt at Center, Punjab

After initially refusing to become part of the government after the general elections held on February 8, 2024. it seems that the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) had now decided to bid adieu to its policy and get ministries both at the Center as well as in Punjab, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Saturday.
Sources told 24News TV channel that after the appointment of governors in Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP), the party had now decided that it would get ministries.
Sources informed it had been decided that PPP’s Robina Khalid would be made Benazir Income Support Programme (BISP) chairman.
The party would get four ministries in Punjab, sources said, adding that in the second phase ministers of state would be picked from the party.
They informed that the PP would get some important ministries in Punjab.
