PTI Parliamentary Committee meeting was held in National Assembly on Monday evening under the chair of Opposition Leader in National Assembly Omar Ayub which was attended by senior party leaders including Asad Qaiser, Salman Akram Raja, Zartaj Gull and Amir Dogar, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.


MNAs Sanaullah Mastikhel, Muhammad Khan, Shandana Gulzar, Khawaja Sheraz, Atif Khan and Shahid Khattak also attended the meeting.


During PTI Parliamentary Committee meeting, detailed discussion was held on the names which will be nominated by PTI in the Judicial Commission. Moreover, PTI MNAs who were issued show-cause notices for their dubious role during the passage of 26th constitutional amendments was also discussed.


According to the declaration, PTI parliamentary committee has approved the proposal that PTI will become the part of judicial commission. Parliamentary commentary endorsed the decision of political committee.


PTI parliamentary committee also gave nod for the starting to protest movements in the country for the release of PTI founder Imran Khan. All members pledge that they will become part of the protests.


PTI parliamentary committee also reviewed the current session of the National Assembly, 26th Amendment and the political situation of the country.


During the meeting, PTI decided to revisit legal strategy to follow the political cases against Imran Khan. PTI said effective protest against unjust imprisonment of PTI founder will continue as Imran Khan has been kept in solitary confinement in fake cases. The parliamentary party paid tribute to the members of the assembly, especially the members of Punjab, who stood with PTI like a rock.


PTI parliamentary committee also decided that strict action will be taken against the members who betrayed the party. During PTI parliamentary committee, MNA Aslam Ghuman was not allowed to attend the meeting. After the meeting, Amir Dogar told media that PTI parliamentary committee has decided to become part of judicial commission. He said the final names for the commission will be approved by Imran Khan.
