Sonam Kapoor bashed for ‘WRONG' fashion suggestions to Alia and Parineeti Chopra

Sonam Kapoor, who is actually considered one of the style icons in the Bollywood industry has unintentionally landed herself into hot water through just offering some ‘wrong’ fashion suggestions to fellow stars Alia Bhatt and Parineeti Chopra which has been assumed quite ‘disrespectful’ and ‘insulting’ to the masses.
Recently, we stumbled upon an old video of Sonam Kapoor from Karan Johar's show Koffee 'With Karan' where the lady has encountered a Rapid-fire round, wherein Sonam was asked to give fashion advice to the listed actors and actresses. Karan asked Sonam to give fashion advice to Parineeti Chopra, and her answer to the same grabbed a lot of attention. Sonam stated that Parineeti should avoid wearing tight clothes. When asked about Alia Bhatt, Sonam said that the former should dress her age.

In the video, Sonam looked stunning as she slipped into a black and white-hued block-printed shimmery dress. A galm touch of makeup, including smokey eyes, deep-toned lipstick, and a ponytail, added stars to her look.
As soon as the video surfaced online, netizens rushed to the comment section and penned down their opinions. While some of the users called out the actress for body-shaming Parineeti Chopra, others disapproved of her way of not appreciating other actors and actresses. If the reports are to be believed after Sonam Kapoor made such a comment, a feud between her and Parineeti arose. However, a few years later, reports were also rife that the two actresses had let the bygones be bygones by sorting out their differences and even talked at length. As per a report by Masala, a source had added that the two actresses enjoyed their hearts out at the party and even exchanged their phone numbers.
Talking about Sonam Kapoor's personal life, the diva got married to the love of her life, Anand Ahuja back in May 2018, and it was in August 2022, when she became a mom to her baby boy, Vayu. In an interview on Fashionably Pernia, Sonam Kapoor shared that she was traumatised by gaining 32 kilos after giving birth to Vayu. The actress shared that it took her one and half years to get back in shape, and she took the process slow, as she has a baby to take care of. Sonam further mentioned that after becoming a mother, everything changes, and one has to accept who one is and take time to get acquainted with one's new versions.
