PM Shehbaz likely to expand federal cabinet

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif chaired an important meeting of the federal cabinet in Islamabad on Monday.
According to sources, the prime minister informed the cabinet members about some changes and planned increase in the size of the cabinet. On this occasion, the prime minister also sought a report on the performance of the ministers.
Sources say that now members of the allied parties of the ruling Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) will also be made part of the federal cabinet. There are reports that some senators and MNAs of the PML-N will also be given key portfolios in the federal cabinet. Sources say that PM Sharif has already started work on expansion of the federal cabinet.
