Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif Flood Relief Village consisting of 100 houses has been prepared, 24NewsHD TV channel reported. 

The premier expressed gratitude to Menzies Global Aviation CEO Philip Joyning for building the flood relief village at a meeting on Wednesday.

"Your passion is appreciable and the construction of 100 houses will be an important step in the resettlement of flood survivors,"  the  PM said.

 Prime Minister had promised construction of 100 houses during his visit to Tank on September 2. 

The site was selected on September 3, the survey of both locations was completed on September 7, and construction began on September 11.

A prominent architect of the country, Ali Naqvi, prepared the map.

These houses for the flood victims in Tank were constructed on October 5 in a record 24 days.

The village has schools, clinics and tube wells equipped with the facility of the solar system.

These houses can withstand harsh weather conditions as modern construction materials and technology are used.

The school is equipped with modern facilities including computers while 9,000 indigenous trees have also been planted around the settlement

The group built 270 houses in Mithankot of Rajanpur during the 2005 earthquake and 2010 floods. It is interested in making major investments in the aviation sector and building a skiing resort in Pakistan.
