Old man’s brave act saves life in front of Islamabad’s police station

An old man turned out to be a savior when he intervened right at a time when the assailant was about to fire another bullet at a man over old enmity in front of the gate of Bhara Kahu police station in Islamabad, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Thursday.

The CCTV footage of the incident shows a man firing in front of the police station.

While the first bullet he fired did not miss the target, the second bullet got stuck in the pistol’s chamber, which gave the old man an opportunity to try to grab him.

This made the assailant jittery who left the spot in panic.   

Police shifted the injured man to hospital.

The incident of firing, and that too right in front of the police station, has spread panic and fear in the area.
