KP Governor Faisal Kundi calls on PM Shehbaz to discuss political situation

Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Governor Faisal Karim Kundi called on Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif at PM House Islamabad to discuss prevalent political situation in the country especially in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi, Planning Minister Ahsan Iqbal and PM Adviser Ahad Cheema were also present in the meeting. During the meeting, Faisal Karim Kundi held detailed discussion with PM and his team on PTI protest and security situation in KP.

Various options were reviewed keeping in mind the security situation in KP. It was decided that all possible measures will be taken to ensure peace and order. Various key decisions regarding KP may be taken in the coming days. On the occasion, PM also directed Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Governor to remain available in Federal Capital. According to sources there is no truth in news item that is making rounds on social media that the federal government was planning to impose Governor Rule in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
