Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto has strongly condemned former prime Imran Khan’s remarks against the military top brass, 24NewsHD TV channel reported Monday.

The PPP chairman said Imran Khan should refrain from questioning the patriotism of the armed forces and their commanders.

Targeting high officials, and giving certificates of patriotism and treason to members of institutions is the hallmark of this anarchist, he said, adding that Imran Khan is trying to make Pakistan like Afghanistan, Libya, and Syria by spreading chaos.

He stressed that the patriotic forces of Pakistan will not let Imran Khan succeed in his nefarious ambitions.

The armed forces have made unprecedented sacrifices for the defence of the homeland, he said, adding that the entire country and its people stand by the armed forces.

The PPP chairman came down hard on the PTI chief a couple of days ago for being busy holding concerns in KP and Punjab when the country was facing the biggest disaster in its history. He said the chief ministers of Punjab and KP were busy organizing PTI’s ‘musical event’ instead of helping flood victims.
