Rabi ul Awal moon not sighted: Eid Milad un Nabi celebrations set for Sept 17

The Central Ruet-e-Hilal Committee has confirmed that the Rabi-ul-Awwal moon was not sighted, and Eid Milad un Nabi (PBUH) will be celebrated on Tuesday, September 17, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
This announcement was made by Maulana Abdul Khabeer Azad, Chairman of the Central Ruet-e-Hilal Committee, following a meeting at the Ministry of Religious Affairs Secretariat in Islamabad on Wednesday.
The meeting also included consultations by zonal Ruet-e-Hilal committees from various cities such as Karachi, Peshawar, Quetta, and Lahore.
Representatives from the Pakistan Meteorological Department, SUPARCO, and the Ministry of Science and Technology participated in the moon-sighting deliberations.
As Eid Milad-un-Nabi (PBUH) approaches, the nation is preparing for the occasion with buildings and shrines adorned with lights.
Government and religious organizations are organizing numerous events to honor the character and merciful acts of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) with reverence and devotion.
The celebrations will begin with 31-gun salutes in the federal capital and 21-gun salutes in provincial capitals as a tribute to the Prophet (PBUH).
Special prayers will be held in mosques for the peace, progress, and prosperity of Pakistan, as well as for the early liberation of Palestine and Kashmir from illegal occupation.
Stringent security measures will be implemented to ensure the safety of the celebrations and to prevent any untoward incidents, ensuring a peaceful observance of the sacred day.
