4 cops arrested for demanding ransom after abducting citizen in Karachi

Four policemen were arrested on the charge of abducting a citizen and extorting money in Karachi, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Saturday.
A case was registered against the policemen under several provisions including extortion on the directive of Deputy Inspector General (DIG) Counter Terrorism Department (CTD).
The cops were accused of abducting a citizen and demanding ransom from his family.
3 bakery workers hurt in blast
Three workers got injured during a gas leakage blast in a bakery in Karachi’s Baldia Town area.
According to rescue officials, in order to start work in the bakery, an employee tried to start the fire when the blast occurred. Resultantly, three people who were sleeping in the nearby hall got injured who were later identified as father and his two sons.
According to police, the injured employee were identified as 25-year Ali, 18-year Raheem and 60 year Riaz, who were shifted to nearby hospital for emergency treatment.
The gas blast incident occurred at Kabari Chowk, Saeed Abad in Baldia Town Karachi.
