Mathira, a well-known host and model, shared advice to young boys who desperately want her married.
Recently, the model appeared as a guest on the ‘Metatainment’ podcast with the topic ‘Only Fitness’ where she delved into topics such as her fitness journey, societal reactions towards women, and the prevailing obsession with marriage in Pakistan.
The model advised that “Men need to have a foundation first. Work on yourself and your career before you try to get married. Men should be able to provide for their wives when they get hitched.”
During the podcast, Mathira discussed the intense societal pressure many individuals face to get married, especially young men. She highlighted the cultural fixation on marriage as a goal rather than focusing on personal growth and development. Her advice to boys desperate to get married was clear and practical, ‘build a strong foundation first.’

Her message is a reminder that a successful and fulfilling marriage is built on a foundation of stability, mutual support, and readiness.
By focusing on building a solid foundation, they can ensure that when they do decide to marry, they are well-equipped to provide for their families and contribute positively to their relationships.
The model also talked about the unrealistic beauty standards set for women in our society, especially in terms of weight and complexion.
She strongly condemns the criticism both men and women are subjected to for something that's out of their control and completely unnecessary to comment on.
"Every men and women have their body size, shape, and type you are no one to call them to become a zero size", she said.
"Women have so many issues like periods and hormonal unbalance issues and it is shameful that a man calls she is fat and must lose her weight", she added.
