Pakistan Army pays tribute to Major Shabbir Sharif (Shaheed)

The Pakistan Army on Sunday paid a glowing tribute to Major Shabbir Sharif (Shaheed), who is a recipient of Nishan-e-Haider, for his heroics in the 1965 and 1971 wars.
The Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), media wing of the Pakistan Army, said in a tweet on Sunday that Major Shabbir Sharif “symbolises valour & patriotism”.
The tweet reads, “Tribute 2 Maj Shabbir Sharif Shaheed, NH, recipient of Sword of Honour, SJ in 65, NH in 71. He symbolises valour & patriotism. His heroic actions in 65 & 71 wars remind us, it’s not numbers but faith, devotion & courage in adversity which make nations triumph. #OurMartyrsOurHeroes”
