PTI Chairman and former prime minister Imran Khan on Tuesday skipped appearance at the office of Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) investigating the cipher audio leaks, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

Imran Khan was due to appear in the office at noon today after FIA issued him a notice for joining the investigation into the cipher tapes.

The FIA had already constituted a high-level committee to probe the matter.

The FIA probe panel had summoned Imran Khan, Asad Umar, Shah Mehmood Qureshi, former principal secretary to Imran Khan Azam Khan and former foreign secretary Suhail Chaudhry.

On FIA’s first notice Imran Khan did not appear due to his injuries he received in Hafizabad attack on PTI rally. Asad Umar and Qureshi also avoided appearance in FIA office despite receiving notices.
The FIA had again issued Imran Khan notice to come to its office today but he decided otherwise.
