Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Governor Faisal Karim Kundi has expressed concerns over the treatment of Pashtuns in Islamabad and Punjab.

In a media interaction on Friday, he emphasized that labeling every Pashtun as a terrorist or a Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) supporter was unjust.

“There are good and bad people everywhere. I have raised the issue of discriminatory behavior against Pashtuns with the Deputy Prime Minister,” he stated.

The governor expressed his dismay over Bushra Bibi’s recent remarks, in which she claimed she was abandoned during the political turmoil at D-Chowk.

Kundi acknowledged the gravity of her statement but noted that not all of her claims were entirely accurate.

Referring to the KP CM Gandapur, he said, “The Chief Minister had vowed not to leave D-Chowk but eventually fled.”

Kundi called for fair treatment of all citizens, irrespective of ethnicity, and underscored the need to move beyond stereotypes to ensure equality and justice for the Pashtun community.
