Khushim Sahiba clinches giant slalom gold in Malam Jabba Ski Cup

Talented Pakistani skier Khushim Sahiba Thursday clinched another gold medal in the women’s giant slalom category the 3rd Malam Jabba International Alpine Ski Cup-2020.

She had also won gold medal in the same category of the in the 4th CAS Karakoram International Alpine Ski Cup.

Khushim Sahiba carried on with her superb performance from the opening day of the event and outperformed her opponents on the majestic Malam Jabba ski slope.

Elvira Zakarayeva of Azerbaijan won the silver medal, while Umama Wali of Pakistan had to settle for bronze medal.

Meanwhile, Ukrainian skiers remained unassailable in the men’s giant slalom category. It was a very close competition between Nazarity Petruk and Ivan Kravchuk, however, Nazarity Petruk won the gold by finishing on the top, while another Ukrainian Aib Vitalli won bronze medal.

Seasoned skiers of Pakistan Mir Nawaz and Muhammad Abbas also had a wonderful race but they could not finish on the podium.
