Prime Minister Imran Khan on Sunday met Chinese President Xi Jinping and held a discussion on mutual interests and regional affairs, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
Prime Minister Imran Khan, who reached China on Thursday on a four-day visit concluded his tour today.
Information Minister Fawad Chaudhry who was also part of the PM entourage tweeted today: “The meeting between Prime Minister Imran Khan and Chinese President Xi Jinping has concluded and Prime Minister Imran Khan has set off for the airport for his departure to Pakistan.”

The Prime Minister also called on his Chinese counterpart Li Keqiang in Beijing on Saturday. In their meeting, they resolved to bolster their ties and work together to promote their communal objectives of peace, tranquility and progress in Afghanistan and enhance regional connectivity.
Both the leaders discussed their bilateral relations, development on the CPEC project and other important regional and international matters.
They resolved to cement their ties and boost their multifaceted strategic cooperation while building a shared future in the new era.
PM Khan laso highlighted the grave situation prevailing in the Indian illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir and called for urgent action by international community to alleviate sufferings of the Kashmiri people.
Talking about CPEC, the Prime Minister appreciated the transformational impact of project on Pakistan's infrastructure, energy, socio-economic development and improvement in livelihoods of the people.
He underlined that Pakistan is committed to high quality development of CPEC through its mutually reinforcing industrial, trade, health, digital and green corridors.
The Prime Minister also briefed his counterpart on the measures taken by Pakistani government to provide policy guidance and support for enhanced Chinese investments in the Special Economic Zones and Special Technology Zones under the CPEC, and for safety and security of Chinese nationals, projects and institutions in Pakistan.
Congratulating the Chinese counterpart over organizing Beijing Winter Olympics, the Prime Minister said that bilateral strategic ties served fundamental interests of the two countries and are factor of peace and stability in the region.
Imran Khan said that successful celebrations of the 70th anniversary of establishment of diplomatic relations held last year injected a new impetus to bilateral friendship.
He also thanked the Chinese government for supporting Pakistan in dealing with the COVID-19 pandemic and timely supply of vaccines.
