Sindh Police arrest Secretary Punjab Assembly

Secretary Punjab Assembly Muhammad Khan Bhatti, who has also worked as the principal secretary to ex-Punjab chief minister Parvez Elahi, has been arrested in Sindh, reported 24NewsHD TV channel Monday.

Ch Parvez Elahi broke the news to the media as he said that Muhammad Khan was detained from the Matiari area of Sindh.

He said Muhammad Khan Bhatti was going to Sindh High Court for protective bail.

He said Muhammad Khan Bhatti was detained by Sindh Police under the supervision of SSP Hyderabad.

“We fear that Mohammad Khan Bhatti may not be made a missing person like our legal advisor Aamir Saeed Raan who is still missing.”

He warned the IG Sindh and Sindh administration that such incidents will lead to hatred in the provinces.

He said Chief Minister Sindh should take immediate notice of this lawlessness.

I am sure that Sindh Chief Minister will block the way of such a move, which will spread enmity in the provinces.

He questioned what message is being sent by arresting the people of Punjab in Sindh.
