Pakistan, Saudi Arabia mull ways to enhance defence cooperation

Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee (CJCSC) General Sahir Shamshad Mirza has called on Saudi Defence Minister Prince Khalid bin Salman in Riyadh and discussed ways to enhance bilateral cooperation in various sectors, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Tuesday.
General Sahir Shamshad Mirza and the Saudi defence minister discussed ways to enhance bilateral relations especially military cooperation.
General Sahir Mirza congratulated Saudi defence minister for holding successful World Defence Show in Riyah which showcased the Kingdom’s commitment to becoming a global hub for the defence industry.
More than 773 exhibitors including Pakistan, representing more than 75 countries, alongside numerous government entities and leading local and international companies in the defence and security sector attended the show.
Earlier, General Sahir opened Pakistani pavilion at the Saudi defence show. More than 12 Pakistani companies showcased their products including drones, missile system, in the show.
