PPP candidate injured in Mirpurkhas gun attack

A PPP candidate Syed Zuliqar Shah from PS 46 sustained serious injuries in a gun attack in the Mirpurkhas district of Sindh.

According to 24NewsHD TV channel, his vehicle was sprayed with bullets on the Bypass. A bullet hit his neck, leaving him seriously injured.

He was rushed to to the District Headquarters Hospital from where he was transferred to Hyderabad in critical condition.

His supporter rushed to the hospital and the authorities called Rangers and police personnel.

The Election Commission has taken notice of the incident and sought a report from the Sindh chief secretary and the IGP.

The commission directed the culprits be brought to book.
