Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari Monday said the PPP wanted to serve the people of Karachi and if elected to power, he would restore the true face of the city, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
Addressing the participants of the rally in Karachi’s Shireen Jinnah colony, Bilawal claimed if the PPP bagged 20 seats from Karachi, then federal government would be in the PPP hands.
He informed the workers that MQM always sat with the ruling party in the federal government and at the end of the term complained that federal government failed to meet their demands.
He said all political parties except the PPP were doing the politics of hatred and division, adding that politics based on religious and ethnic divisions further divided the society and created unrest and desperation. He raised the slogan that Karachi belonged to all.
He hoped the people of Karachi will repose their trust on PPP as they did in local bodies’ election.
Meanwhile, addressing the party workers at Tara Chand road, Bilawal said the people of Kemari had shown the world that the public is with PPP and would vote it on February 8.
He said during 2018, votes of the PPP were stolen and this time the residents of Kemari would not allow anyone to steal the public mandate.
