Retired general to head Directorate General for Religious Education

The government has appointed Major General (Retired) Dr Ghulam Qamar director general of the Directorate General for Religious Education.

The Establishment Division has issued a notification about Dr Ghulam Qamar’s appointment for a period of three years. According to the notification, Dr Ghulam Qamar has been appointed for a three years period.  The notification says that Dr Ghulam Qamar’s appointment has been effective since November 18, 2024.
