While responding to Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chairman Imran Khan’s threat to ‘reveal everything’ if harassment of him and his party continues, Interior Minister Rana Sanaullah Wednesday asked Imran Khan to tell the nation why he was being harassed, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

Rana Sanaullah, while addressing a press conference in Islamabad, questioned: “Have you [Imran Khan] been put into Kot Lakhpat Jail or Adiala Jail? Are you being implicated in false cases? What harassment are you facing? Are you facing the same treatment you had meted out to your opponents? You should be ashamed of yourself.”

He said that former first lady Bushra Bibi and her frontwoman Farah Gogi kept collecting money through corruption. “Is this harassment to ask Imran Khan about their corruption? Imran Khan should tell why did he organise the 2014 sit-in?” he questioned.

He asked Imran Khan to tell to whom belonged the 15kg heroin. “I was innocent and remained in jail for six months,” he stated, asking Imran Khan to tell about his corruption too if he wanted to reveal everything.

Rana Sanaullah demanded that the Supreme Court take suo motu notice on the 15kg drug allegation against him. “If the Supreme Court can take suo motu notice on postings and transfers of the officers, then I am also a citizen of this country,” he said.

“I was implicated in a false drug case. If I am guilty, I should be sentenced to death,” he declared.

He alleged that former adviser to the prime minister Shahzad Akbar had asked the Islamabad IG to put the bag full of drugs in his lodge. “When this did not happen, an action was taken against me through the Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF)” he claimed.

“Imran Sahib! Nothing has happened to you so far. An inquiry against you has just started,” the interior minister pointed out.

“Has your fan been turned off, or you have been denied medicines? Has your sister or daughter been arrested? Right now, only questions are being asked from people like Farah Gogi,” he stated.
