Gen Pervez Musharraf's parody actor Wasim Ansari dies

Renowned artiste Wasim Ansari, best known for his hilarious impersonations of former Pakistani leader Pervez Musharraf, died in Karachi on Tuesday, reported the 24NewsHD TV channel.
His son Kashan Ansari claimed that his father had been battling high blood pressure and diabetes.
The family members said Ansari went to pay the utility bill and suddenly collapsed. He was taken right away to a nearby hospital. He was unsuccessfully revived despite doctors’ best efforts.
Wasim Ansari used to parody Pervez Musharraf in the Geo News program ‘Hum Subb Omid Se Hain’ even during the late Gen Musharraf’s era.
The family members said that Waseem Ansari was buried in a nearby cemetery after performing funeral prayers at Nauman Grand City, Gulsitan-e-Johar region.
Ex-president Musharraf died on Feb 5, 2023.
