Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) leader and Federal Minister Ayaz Sadiq on Monday tabled a resolution in the National Assembly (NA) on former premier Imran Khan's anti-state, anti-army, and anti-atomic program remarks.
According to the 24News HD TV channel, the resolution stated that this House strongly condemns the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chairman's interview and remarks.
The resolution said that former Prime Minister Imran Khan has said if the establishment does not make the right decisions, Pakistan will be divided into three parts, and the Pak army will be destroyed.
Pak Army has made great sacrifices against terrorism which is appreciated by the House, the resolution said adding that the House condemns Imran Niazi's statement.
In the resolution, the mover also suggested the State that should approach the Supreme Court against the former Prime Minister Imran Khan for such remarks.
To convince the House in favour of his resolution, Ayaz Sadiq declared Imran Khan a security risk and said he has a doubt that the former premier has given national secrets to others.
He also suggested to the House that a resolution should also be brought against Imran Khan with the signatures of all the parliamentarians. He also said that he does not call anyone a non-patriot but whoever does not sign the resolution will be considered to support Imran Khan's statement.
