Leaders of the opposition parties Sunday hit back at Prime Minister Imran Khan over his address to a public meeting in Mailsi, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Information Secretary Marriyum Aurangzeb said Imran Khan that day spread his container’s filth.

“Every type of filth spread by the government will be cleaned with the broom of the no-confidence motion,” she stated and also lambasted the prime minister for destroying the economy and leaving the people impoverished and unemployed.

Senate Deputy Chairman Saleem Mandviwalla termed the prime minister’s allegation against the journalists for publishing news for money baseless. “It is an attack on freedom of the press and tantamount to putting pressure on journalists,” he added.

PPP spokesperson Faisal Karim Kundi also reacted to the prime minister’s address in Mailsi and said that Imran Khan was panicked after knowing his political doom. “Imran Khan has proved to be a locust for the national economy,” he added.
