Six perish in Layyah road accident

Six passengers including women and children were killed in a horrific road accident when a passenger van and a car collided head on at MM Road near Gola Adda in Layyah city on Sunday, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
As many as 16 passengers were also injured in the accident.
Police and rescue authorities rushed to the site and shifted the bodies and the injured to a nearby hospital where an emergency has been declared to deal with the situation.
Some of the victims were identified as Shoaib, Anees, Suleman and Malo Mayi.
The police feared that the number of casualties may increase as the condition of some of the injured was stated to be critical.
