Robbers have been ruling the roost in the port city of Karachi, the 24NewsHD TV channel reported on Tuesday.
So far 33 people, including a woman and a policeman, have been robbed of their lives during the ongoing year in the Sindh capital, according to estimates. A hundred people have sustained injuries during dacoities so far, the reports suggest.
In the first four days of March, three people, including a woman, fell prey to robbery-cum-murder strikes.
Last night, robbers shot and injured five people, including a child.
A policeman among 18 people lost their life in street crimes in February, while in January, 12 people fell prey to robberies.
People have been making a litany of complaints against the robber’s raj but to no avail.
