Grand Democratic Alliance (GDA) leadership announced contesting the general election and giving tough time to the Pakistan People's Party (PPP) in Sindh.
The central leaders of the GDA, Sardar Abdul Rahim, Dr Safdar Abbasi, Syed Zain Shah and others, after holding a meeting in Nawabshah addressed a press conference on Sunday.
Safdar Abbasi said that GDA is basically an alliance of five parties which will jointly participate in the upcoming elections and will drive the Zardari mafia out of Sindh.
He said the PPP is a party of only 8 districts in Sindh and it will lose the election when Pir of Pagaro Sharif will run a campaign in the province from the GDA.
The GDA leader said that the PPP wants to form the government in Sindh by blackmailing again. He added that a letter has been written to the Election Commission of Sindh regarding the rigging in the election.
Sardar Abdul Rahim said that many people are in contact with them to join GDA. He said other parties including MQM are one to get rid of the mafia like the PPP.
Syed Zain Shah said that it is the People's Party that sold Sindh including the coastal belt of Sindh and turned it into a minority.
