Court in Islamabad grants bail to over 1,300 PTI workers

An anti-terrorism court (ATC) in Islamabad on Wednesday granted post-arrest bail to all over 1,300 PTI leaders and workers, who had been arrested following the party’s protest in the federal capital on October 4 against bail bonds of Rs10,000 each, reported 24NewsHD TV channel. 

As many as 33 cases were registered against the PTI leaders and workers, including an MNA, an MPA and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) Police personnel, at Kohsar, secretariat, Aabpara, I-9, Khana, Sangjani and other police stations of the city.

PTI lawyers Niazullah Niazi, Ansar Kiani and others represented the PTI workers in the court.
