Karachiites purchase costliest flour in country, say stats

According to the figures released by the Bureau of Statistics, people of Karachi are forced to purchase most expensive flour in the entire country, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
The figures further show that the price of a 20-kilo bag of flour has gone up by Rs70 in cities such as Islamabad and Bannu in the last one week while it has increased by Rs60 in Multan, in Gujranwala by Rs50, in Lahore, Larkana and Rawalpindi by Rs40, in Sukkur and Sargodha by Rs20, while in Quetta, Peshawar, Hyderabad and Sialkot, the price of a 20-kilo bag of flour has upped by Rs10.
After recent increase, a 20-kilo bag of flour is available in markets in Hyderabad at Rs1, 290, in Karachi it costs Rs1, 350, in Islamabad Rs1, 250, in the neighbouring city of Rawalpindi and in Quetta Rs1, 240, in Larkana, Bannu and Khuzdar the bag is available at Rs1,200 while in Peshawar and Lahore at Rs1, 160 and Rs1, 150, respectively.
Similarly, in Gujranwala a 20-kilo bag of flour costs Rs1, 170, in Multan Rs1, 160 while in Sialkot Rs1, 110.
