Lahore High Court Tuesday suspended the Banking Court’s order to return a bus to defaulter of bank and leader of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Bajash Khan Niazi, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Tuesday.
The court also sought reply from the owners of Niazi Express in this regard on September 27.
Justice Abid Aziz Sheikh heard the petition filed by J.S Bank. Advocate Afnan Malik appeared in the court on behalf of the bank while Director Muhsin Raza appeared in the court from Niazi Express.
The lawyer of the bank stated the court that the J.S bank leased out 5 buses to Bajash Khan Niazi and he still is a defaulter of more than Rs29 million of the bank.
The bank legally detained one bus of Niazi Express on non-payment of the default amount while the Banking Court without hearing the position simply ordered the bank to return the bus to the defaulter as the order of the Banking Court is unjustified and illegal.
