The village of Farah Khan, a close friend of First Lady Bushra Bibi, has turned out to be the most funded village in Punjab, 24NewsHD TV channel Thursday reported.

It has been learnt that on the recommendations of the Punjab chief minister’s office, a total of Rs119 million were released for development works in Farah Khan’s village.

Even the PTI ticket-holders are believed to have never received as much funding for development works in their constituencies as received by Farah Khan’s village.

Informed sources also reveal that Rs110 million worth development works had been carried out in Farah Khan’s Ghang village in Sheikhupura in the last three and a half years.

“The establishment of a family park, sports stadium, tuff tiling, sewerage system and roads construction in Farah Khan’s village were included in the list of the development projects,” said sources.

“Development projects worth Rs45 billion were also approved for Sheikhupura district in three years on the recommendations of Farah Khan,” they added.
