Gold prices slightly go up in Pakistan

The price of gold witnessed an increase in Pakistan again despite the value of yellow metal increasing in the international market on Friday.

Yesterday, the prices of gold in the international and Pakistani markets were dropped by US$4 per ounce and Rs2,500 per tola respectively.

But on Friday, the price of 24-karat of pure gold increased by Rs100 per tola to reach Rs2,14,600 per tola in the Pakistani yellow metal bazaar.

The All-Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association (APSGJA) shows the price of 10 grams of 24 Karats gold increased by Rs85 to settle at Rs1,83,985 per 10-gram.

The price of 10 grams of 22 karats gold also increased and settled at Rs1,68,653 per 10 grams.

In the international market, the commodity price decreased by US$11 per ounce to reach $2,008 per ounce.

Meanwhile, silver prices in the domestic market remained unchanged at Rs2,450 per tola and the price of 10 grams silver remained unchanged at Rs2,100.48 per 10 grams.
